Is Nikon Coolpix S32 photo quality better than an iphone?
I'm looking for an affordable waterproof camera and found the Nikon Coolpix S32. I know this camera is geared more towards children, so I was wondering if the photo quality is ok? Is it better than an iphone? Sorry if this is a stupid question, I just need a point of reference.
I'm also considering the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS25, which is much more expensive. I have heard that the camera quality on many rugged cameras is comparable and not much different, so would it be worth the extra money to go with the supposedly nicer camera?

Almost any modern camera will be better than most phone cameras. I suggest the Coolpix S32 as a better camera. It shoots 1080p video, while the Panasonic only shoots 720p video.

The photo quality of the Nikon S32 is OK. Yes, it is better than the iPhone.

- Why does my iPhone receive good quality videos as bad quality videos? So I recently met a famous guy in concert and when I got a picture wth him I was getting a video and my friend used her phone to video it. As long its better than my HTC desire c microphone because the sound quality of that on playback was absolutely horrid and when I took iPhone 4s to concert that microphone was completely fine. Is the camera just as good?
