Is the iPhone 4S good for me?
I'm a 13 year old boy and for my 14th I'm thinking of getting my first phone. I've been looking around and I have seen a deal for £17 monthly with 1gb of data, 100 mins (I don't really call people) and unlimited texts.
It's an iPhone 4S.
Is it good for my first ever phone? I've got a iPod touch 4th gen but the battery life is bad and it's getting slow and laggy.

The deal seems nice but I'm worried that the iPhone 4S a bit outdated?
Should I get it? The deals on for 2 years, a 2 year contract.
Hows battery life and all?
Hmm the iphone 4s is actually quite good at the moment(!). But if you have a contract for 2 years, I'm also afraid that it will get "outdated" and laggy with new iOS updates within 1 year and you'll be stuck with the slow phone for another year.
I'd recommend saving up a bit more and getting a good but used iphone 5 or a new 5C.

4S is not the latest but its still a good phone. If your minutes are limited, you can also use some voice type apps like voxer (and whatsapp is adding voice to it) to talk with friends to save some minutes. 2 years actually goes by pretty quick, you can trade it in at that time
