Is the iphone fingerprint a bad idea?
I feel someone can steal that fingerprint… And steal your identity.
Biometric devices are in use in a growing number of products, including door locks, phones, and others. It may be possible to detect a fingerprint on an iphone button, but it doesn't seem very likely that an average person would know how to lift it.
It's a dumb idea because if you use biometric identification a finger leaves a small amount of grease and all a person has to do to get into a phone is place small thin bag of water placed over a scanner to trick it into opening the phone or any other form of biometric identifier that uses fingerprint analysis.
The NSA can use it to frame you for a crime with the CIA
- Would it be a bad idea to get an iphone 4? I can get it for free, but is it too old? Will I not be able to do things on it that I could on another phone? What are the pros and cons of getting it?
- Would it be a bad idea to buy an iPhone 6 now? I have a Galaxy S5 and I want to switch butI don't know if I should wait for the next iPhone in the fall, assuming one is released in the fall.
- Would be a bad idea to buy the iphone 4 now? I can't afford the iphon 5/s, but I did initially want the a samsung galaxy first. Anyway, I like to watch movies, listen to music and generally surf the web a lot. I also like to download a lot of apps and take pictures. Would the iphone4 be significantly inadequate now. If it helps I'm 18 and my parents can't afford and think it's morally incorrect to get me a iphone 5/s, but I'm not complaining.
- Used iphone on ebay, good or bad idea? Thinking of buying a unlocked iphone on ebay. Is this a good idea? Will I have probs with activation? Can I use straight talk with it?
