Is there a Prepaid Visa or MasterCard for teenagers that fee free?
I have a question regarding prepaid Visas or MasterCards.
My 14 year old daughter likes to buy things off the internet. Either it be iPhone apps, shoes from Amazon or a bag from eBay.
I usually just give her my Visa when she wants to buy something. She has a part time job, so she does pay me back. I just hate the idea that she's using to on sites I'm unfamiliar with. Especially since I've been noticing a lot of extra charges these past few months.
I went to Target and saw you can get a prepaid Visa, but it cost $6.99 to activate it, $4.99 per month to just carry a balance, and a lot of other "hidden fees" and it just seems to much of a hassle. Especially when she'd only keep a MAX balance of $75 to $80 on it at a time.
Does anyone out there know of a card my daughter could get and load money on top that would on work exactly like a credit card for her Amazon, eBay and iPhone apps in their "checkout" area?

- What's a prepaid phone? Can IPhones be prepaid? I'm going to buy an IPhone 4 from my friend and i'm wondering if it can be prepaid? If so do I need anything like a sim chip? & It's not on contract… Or could I just go on a plan without being on a contract?
