Is this a case of identity theft?

I woke up just fine. Phone was working. At around 4, I couldn't make calls, send messages, anything that has to do with having a line. So I went into my Verizon, and it showed my device was a blackberry, when I have an iPhone… So I called, they fixed it up. Then, I couldn't get logged into my Verizon anymore. I got messages saying my cell phone number has been dropped from account, and so I called again, and I could log back in, but again, it stopped letting me. This is really scaring me guys. Please help me. What could this be.

Added (1). When I called. They also mentioned that only somebody who knows all my info could've gotten into the account. No one knows anything about my account.

You need to call Verizon again, and once you can log back in you have to change your password to something no one could guess, It could be someone trying to use your account for their phone, or a problem at Verizon. Call them now.

You should go to a local Verizon store and speak with the manager. The initial information you received about the Blackberry device vs I Phone doesn't make sense. No one would go in and change the type of phone you have as that would not affect your service anyway. They will probably have you reset your password and tell you everything is fine. The network may have been down for a short period and that is why nothing worked.

  • Will a petty theft affect the job i already have? My friend and I stole from Wal-mart. I stole an Iphone case and he stole Gatorade and candy. We're both employed. Will this affect the jobs that we already have? I'm 16 and he is 17.
  • Which grand theft auto should I get on my iphone? Any recommendations for which gta to choose? They are expensive and I don't want to make the wrong choice. I'm running the current ios on an iPhone 5 if that helps
  • Iphone 5s case - gold case or silver case? Both don't look cheap, very elegant. I have a white iphone 5s. What color goes best - champagne gold or an elegant satin silver case? Both are good cases I'm just wondering what color fits a white iphone.
  • How to insure my belongings in the event of theft internationally? I've taken a look at some traveler's insurance, but none of the policies seem to do exactly what I want. I have been robbed multiple times while abroad and obviously it's always a pretty big financial burden. I'm going to be in Mexico City in a few weeks and will be staying in a pretty cheap hotel with a laptop, iPad, iPhone, passport etc. Is there any way to financially protect myself in case any of that gets stolen?
