Jailbroken iphone 4 won't upgrade to ios6?
So, i jail broke my iphone 4.i've tried everything to upgrade to ios 6. I tried resetting my phone, restoring, and just trying the upgrade. NOTHING is working. I don't care if i lose the jailbreak or anything to do with it, i just want it updated to ios 6. I also listened to a stupid youtube video that deleted my cydia app, but the phone is still jailbroken.(still has winterboard and some tweaks.) please, if you know theactual way to do this, Help ME.
That's what you get for jailbreaking. The phone will have to be totally wiped via itunes if possible and set up as new. And even then it may not work if the jailbreak software has a security setting to prevent you. In that case you're ***.
And don't expect Apple customer service to help you. It's jailbroken meaning you have voided any and all support you would of gotten from them.
You can't upgrade to ios 6 with a jailbroke iphone.
