Laptop won't connect to router Wi-Fi?

Ok, so I turned on my laptop this morning and found that my laptop had failed to connect to my router's wireless network.
The strange thing is, my other devices, such as my iPhone and iPod, are connected to the network and work absolutely fine (I'm posting this from the iPhone, if you were wondering). The other strange thing is that just last night, my laptop had a working internet connection and I had no problems as of 9 hours ago.
What I'm wondering is, what can I do to try and fix the problem?
My guess is that it's something to do with the computer, since my other devices connect just fine. I haven't tried much to this point, but I have uninstalled the driver software, and rebooted my computer to reinstall it, which didn't fix my problem.

Try turning off your other Wi-Fi devices for a while and see if helps your laptop connect. If it did, it means your Wi-Fi router has a limit on the number of wireless devices that can connect to it. Some Wi-Fi routers such as those pocket Wi-Fi ones are an example. If I'm not mistaken, only a maximum of 10 devices can connect at a time.

Most laptops have an on/off switch of some kind for the network card. It might be a physical button or switch, or it could be a keyboard combination like Fn + an F key. Look for that and try turning it on and seeing if that helps.

Assuming you ran repair or repair and diagnose tool. Did windows report network problems or just giving you a live connection without internet. Again, it is strange if the action you took and adapter is enable that something is blocking you. Shot in the dark check firewall exceptions. Red, mention not to uninstall but turn off the other devices just to see what happen. Otherwise disable your laptop adapter and get another adapter to see if that adapter works. May your present adapter has too much competition.

Just wanted to know the difference between a cheap router and an expensive router, I know that is a very broad question, I'm just a bit confused on how a router works. Does it increase my Internet speed on multiple devices? I get 50Mb per second, Well at least that's what I pay for. I have a PS3 two iPhones and a tablet, as well as a desktop PC that is wireless. Can anyone recommend an excellent router under $150

  • My Wi-Fi won't connect on my laptop but will connect to my other devices (an iPhone and iPad)? I have a MacBook Air. Sometimes it does connect but other times it just won't. It takes ages connecting and then in the end comes up with the exclamation mark or is just blank. Is this a problem with my laptop? I've tried researching the problem but have found nothing.
