Get the driver for "Lan" if you need it.
If your Lan network adapter is installed ok but you have a red X over the small network icon on your taskbar at the bottom of the screen it means the cable is not connected to your router or computer properly.
Open Internet explorer and click on the diagnose connection problems. It might help.
- Windows was unable to connect to thomson router? I accidentally turned my router off today for about 10 minutes (Thomson TG585 v7) and now I can't connect with any device at all, ipad, iphone, laptop, ps3 etc. I've gone through all of the settings in the router to try and configure it but nothing I do works. I've had this problem many times in the past but it comes back on and things can connect again… Sometimes, it's just unpredictable.
- My internet has been absolutely horrid lately, constant lag spikes. I've tried resetting the router and modem? I was wondering if the problem could be with a person in the household who uses 1 laptop, 2 desktops an iPad, iPhone all to play an app game called mobile strike, I'm wondering if his constant refreshing of the game on all those devices is why my bandwidth is garbage.
- Does the netgear Wireless-N 300 router with DSL Modem needs another router? I don't have cable or DSL but I wanted to wi-if in my home for my iphone and laptop without buying cable and etc. I saw this netgear model at Walmart's website and saw it said "with DSL modem". I wanted to know before buying if I still need some other modem or is the netgear enough?
- Does streaming from xfinity app interrupt norm tv service? For example, if I stream a show on my iPhone does it also show on the home television? I'm out of town and would I would like to catch up on some shows and there are people at home also watching tv. If I watch a show, will it interrupt their viewing? Can they still watch their own shows while I watch mine?
