Lifeproof Frē iPhone 5 Case end call button & Siri not working?
I purchased my Lifeproof case in November of 2012. Since then I have had to call Lifeproof customer service several times and have had my case replaced three times. Last week, the case started acting up yet again. Whenever I try to hang up phone calls, nothing happens, so I need to press the power button or open the charging port and press the button to end calls. Also, Siri doesn't work well anymore. I can open Siri fine by holding down the home button, but when I try to tap the button to close it, the phone makes the Siri noise, but the screen just flashes black a couple of times, and Siri remains open. All the problems I'm having are centered around the bottom of the screen. Not to mention the annoying little oil marks and bubbles all over the screen. What should I do about this case?
As a fellow Lifeproof user myself the "newton rings" or rainbow effects this is caused by humidity or a screen protector underneath the life proof. Now these issues about Siri going black? This, I'm sorry to say is your phone. Either the lcd has been traumatized or something of that nature. The rainbow effect can be eliminated by baby powder being sprinkled on the case on the inside of the case of course and then blow on it then put your CLEAN phone in the case and TADA! Your done… As for the Siri issues thats your phone not the case, I would've experienced this also if it was the case. Sorry to inform you but this can't be the case causing technical issues.

- Which iPhone 5 LifeProof case should I get? Nüüd or Frē? I'm about to trade in my old iPhone 3gs and 3 to get an iPhone 5 from AT&T, and I was wondering whether the nüüd or the frē was better? I'm more of an suburban and rural user, with rare urban use. Which would be better? I need waterproof, which comes on both, but I'm not a frequent phone dropper. I just want to know, which would be better? With the Frē, I notice that there's no screen protecter, and I was wondering if that was a downfall to that.
- Rubber over my silence button on my lifeproof case is loose, is it still water proof? So it's served me well all this time ( I have the iPhone 5c) one day I was silencing it and the rubber above the switch came loose and underneath I can see sort of a black switch cover and the rubber is pealing, is it still water proof (I'm sure not) but how can I redeem any sort of warranty I can redeem (it's been about 3 months since I got it) and if so how do I redeem it? Real help is appreciated, not assumptions thank you!
- Lifeproof Fre iPhone 5s Case? So I received my case and its great but where the front camera is there's a bump that makes clicking on the screen hard. Am I supposed to remove the thick cover that makes it stick out? Anyone else have this problem? Note: This is only eith the Fre case.
