Moto x won't charge or play music through car radio USB?
I bought a new radio about a year ago and it has a USB port. Since then I've had the iphone 4, iphone 5, and now the moto x. The two iphones would charge up as soon as I connected them to my radio via USB and even play Pandora through my car speakers.
But the radio will not read my Moto x at all nor will it even charge it. Any ideas?
and its not the charger. It's the same charger that came with the phone and I use it all the time in the house
does apple have some technology that android isn't using yet?
About 90% of USB equipped car stereo's only work with apple products. Android has changed its USB connector protocols so many times that many stereo companies just gave up trying to make compatible car stereos.
- Why won't my iPhone play music through my car? I have a 2011 hyundai genesis and there's a USB port. I have tried two different cords and four different iPhones and all of them had the same result. The iPhone says trust this computer then goes away faster then I can press anything. After doing this multiple times, the screen on the car will say reading error. Any idea why this is happening?
- What should I buy? IPhone 5c(8 GB), Moto X 2nd gen or Moto X Play? IPhone has low disk space, smaller screen, but its an iPhone, while i don't know the difference b/w motox and motox play, play has bigger screen and better camera. Rest I don't know, I'm going to buy one of these, or others can be considered in the range.
- What are those things that let you play music through the radio in your car? I got my sisters old car and it's older so it doesn't have a way for an iPhone to connect to it. She used to have this thing that you could put into the cigarette lighter (or the little power thing) and you could connect your iPhone to it and the songs would play over the radio but it broke so I want to buy a new one and I don't know what they're called.
- Pandora won't play through car speakers via USB? I currently drive a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu LT and I usually play Pandora on my iPhone via the USB out which is included in the sound systems inside the Malibu models. For a while everything played perfectly, but not it does not. When I plug it in, my car recognizes that it is plugged in and the name of the Artist and song appear on the sound system like normal. However, it only plays through the speakers on my phone. What is the problem? Should I get a different connection other than USB?
