My 4G On My iPhone 5 Sometimes Doesn't Work?
I love my iPhone, but sometimes the 4G will just shut off and either show an "E" (for EDGE). I know that I'm not out of range for reception because when I turn my iPhone off, then back on, I will get 4G again. Please tell me what I can do to fix this problem, It's IRRITATING!
I have this problem where I live. I live in more of a rural area where I only get E, but as soon as I go into a city I get 4G and my phone flies despite the fact that my phone is getting nearly the same strength of service.
It's because your service is based on what towers you are getting signal from. You know how there are AT&T, Verizon, etc towers but only one type of carrier will work with your phone? The same logic applies to E, 3G, and 4G. If your local tower(s) do not support 3G or 4G, you will only get E.
- Why will my iphone touchscreen work only sometimes? I've tried resetting it that didn't help.shut it off and turned it back on that didn't help either. I can slide it to unlock it but then i can't select any icons or do anything.sometimes it will work fine for a few minutes then it won't do anything. Is there anything else i can do without taking it to a repair shop or getting a new phone?
- Why on my iphone does it sometimes show texts in green, and sometimes in red? I have a iphone 4s, my son has iphone 5. Sometimes when i text him, the text appears in green, and sometimes it appears in blue. Does anyone know why this is?
- Why does my iphone sometimes connect to Itunes and sometimes can't? Sometimes i can connect my iphone to my computer and it says iphone apple device. But sometimes it says device unknown? Can anyone help on this? Also, my Itunes need to open so my iphone can connect. I don't know why.
