My iPhone 4 camera is blurry?
Recently, the back camera on my iPhone 4S has not been focusing on anything and every picture is very blurry from the back camera. When I take photos of my nails for example it would normally be a very good quality close up photo but now it is very very blurry and won't focus at all. I have tried pictures with and without a case on and I have cleaned the lens with a special cloth for camera lenses. I have also tried it with flash on and off and they are both blurry, and with different lighting but i have no luck. It is really frustrating me and I would like to know if there's anything I can do to make it not blurry anymore and to get it to focus. The software I have is IOS 6.1.

The lens is probably scratched or something has been spilt on it. Try wiping it with a cloth, and if its still blurry then its probably scratched. Also when on the photo app, try double tapping to focus in, if that doesn't work, then i'd call the apple help line and ask, or take it to an apple store, or your carriers store.
It sounds like it could be either a scratched lens or a software issue. It may be worth running a backup and restore on the device to see if this resolves the problem. If not and the phone is still under warrenty, take it back and demand a replacement.
Take a look at the lens the camera see's out of.sometimes there's a plastic film on it that can be removed, if you have ever had the back plate replaced. If not it is more than likely just an issue with the camera itself. You can get it replaced. The best place i have found, and the cheapest is Apple Tree Canterbury. If you are not in the area you can send your phone in by post.
