My iphone 4 sound isn't working?

So I was walking in the rain and my phone was in my back pocket and when I got home my sound wasn't working and I put headphones in and it worked and I took it out it started working then it stopped working. Could the rain be the cause? And I blew into the headphone thing it started working then stopped and I don't want to replace my phone because I recently replaced it because of sound before.
