My iPhone 5 was stolen and can't track it?
I was robbed a week ago, and well, my iPhone 5 was taken along with the rest of the things that confirmed my own identity. >.< (though I'm still in the process of trying to prevent identity theft and etc)
However, my iPhone 5… My carrier's Sprint. And after research, when I initially bought it, I denied the Total Equipment Protection because it'd still be a waste of money anyway, when doing the math. I was hoping it'd be able to replace lost/stolen phones within a certain time interval when it's like… Brand-new.
Totally slipped my mind though, that they don't really care when it comes to Apple products, ahaaa… My phone was literally not even 50 days old yet, so I thought there'd be a way to help with replacing it. I was completely wrong.
And I've already tried tracking it, but as soon as I filed my police report (which was done by a rookie, and the case was already suspended -.-;), I tried to track my iPhone in every way I could - but the thieves already turned it off before I could get home, so I keep getting that notification that it'll let me know when it's on and connected to the internet.
So, knowing aloottt of my stuff is in there, I just gave the cue to erase it next time it's activated.
So my question is, is there any other way you can track it, like with the serial number, etc? Because clearly, without the internet enabled on that, you can't do anything. >.<
I have the box with me, and I already had the product registered on Apple - what else can I do to eventually get my phone back or able to get a replacement without so much money hassling?
Your phone is gone w/o having the app to track It from another iDevice. The only way you'll be able to get a replacement Is If you bought insurance when you got your phone
The serial number is the imei… The phone can't be used on sprint if you reported stolen its blacklisted which makes the phone worthless to who took it…
no way of tracking unless you had insurance.sprint has tracking with insurance
and police arnt going to do anything about a stolen phone… There are thousands of stolen phones… To hard to track… To hard to find and prove and everything not worth their time

- Stolen iPhone 5c. How can I track it? My iPhone 5c was stolen today from my bookbag at a park while I was playing soccer. My friends and I were trying to track it using my friends iPhone through the 'Find My iPhone' app. When locating it, the app said that my phone was offline. Is there any way I can track the phone? I know about the apps you can get on your phone but unfortunately i didn't have them installed on my phone. i heard about some website where you can just put in your serial number and it will show you where the ohone was last turned on any help would be awesome apple and my provider service can't do much.
- IPhone 5 stolen? Can I track it after wiping? My iphone was stolen, first I went to the icloud page from a notebook and enter the find my iphone button, the page try to locate my phone but it said it was offline so I put it in lost mode (put a password, my other cellphone number and the message that will display in the screen) then I press the erase option. When my iphone get internet connection it will erase all my data rigth? My question is: will it continue to track my phone after the wiping/erasing?
- Iphone 4s stolen Can i still track it? So my iphone 4S got stolen about 6 hours ago and i'm super pissed. I have i cloud on it, but whenever i try to find my phone it says "last seen 6 hours ago" at the same spot i was, If the thief were to restore my iphone could i still track it? Or if they were to use Wi-Fi?
