My iPhone 5s camera flash is blurry?

I have iPhone 5s and when I take pictures at night with flash they come out super blurry can't even see what I take and it also takes along time to take a picture. What can I do?

Flash is just an instant burst of light. You have no time to see if it's blurry or not. It's just light.

The picture coming out of a shot taken with flash can be blurry if the light is not strong enough or the subject is not still enough. What can you do? Transfer to another location with better lighting conditions and stay very still when taking the shot.

Generally, flash from phones are almost always useless in the dark. It's just too small and if you use it, your subject must be at most 3 feet away from the phone.

Get a camera. A phone is a poor substitute for a camera no matter what Apple says. Especially at night.

Contributor "Stan" forgive me, but your answer word for word is what I would have said. Phone camera's are for fender benders, or the best posible thing to use if you forgot your camera. It is no substitue for a "real" camera! When it come to flash even all those "pop-up" flashes on expensive cameras are really in fact useless for a pcture the REQUIRES extra lighting.

By the way there's no such thing as a flash being blurry. The problem is that the flash is not powerful enough to "stop" the action! And of course you may not be able to hold the phone steady enough due to it's size.

Cure your problems! Buy a camera.
