My iPhone 5s has a very bad crack?

And my warranty period us up. What should I do? Should I replace, upgrade my phone(my warranty is up) or should I replace the screen?

Replace the screen. The warranty doesn't cover cracked screens anyway and as long as the phone still works replacing the screen is an inexpensive fix.

Just because the warranty is up doesn't mean (in this case) an Apple Store doesn't want anything to do with you. Just means you'd have to pay for it, in this case replace the display.

How much will it cost tho? Compared to fixing it at an Apple Store and a regular device repair shop

If you have used it a couple years the I would just buy the iphone SE and its the same size and a big upgrade, better to put your money towards that instead. Although I would check to see how much it would cost to replace, because its worth something on trade in also but less since damaged or if it was $80 to fix it then I would pay the $80 and sell it for $150 as iphones sell fairly quickly on craigslist. That way you are at least getting some money back also.
