My iphone is stuck in recovery mode, and iTunes won't recognize it?
They don't recognize it neither in recovery mode and neither in DFU mode. Is there a way to ''hard reset'' or reboot it without itunes? This happened while i was trying to install ios 8 GM.
Try putting it back in DFU mode, unplug from itunes. Hold power button down and home button at the same time for ten seconds, then release the power button but still hold home button. You should see connect to itunes screen on the phone. If that doesn't work, try the same thing but this time plug it back into the computer before doing it.
There's a program called TinyUmbrella which can be used to kick your iPhone out of recovery mode, it even recognises devices that iTunes won't.
Go to http://www.firmwareumbrella.com and click on either Fix Recovery [Windows] Fix Recovery [OSX] depending on what operating system you use (it is located on the right)
Put your phone into DFU mode and then run the program.

I bought an iphone online amazon £210, recently its been playing up i mean when i first got it the audio sound didn't work when you record a video, but now the lock button doesn't work, it goes into recovery mode, so i update it, its fine for about an hour then the precess repeats, not just this but the battery percentage remains at 7% and doesn't seem to change it is non refundable what do i do: o help! - My iphone 4s stuck in recovery mode and won't charge? My iphone is out of battery so when i try to charge it apple logo comes up for about 5 seconds, and then it shows recovery mode, So i connected it to my windows pc itunes but since its out of battery it won't connect to itunes, Oh and when it shows recovery mode its supposed to charge but as soon as i take out plug it goes black screen and won't turn on(shuts down).
