My iphone isn't switching on
My iPhone switched off randomly, I put it on charge about 3 hours ago and nothing happened, the lock button that helps to switch it on doesn't work, the nearest apple store is miles away and no other phone shop will touch it, any suggestions
Try a hard reset - holding down the home button and lock button for around 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears. If that fails try connecting your phone to iTunes on a computer/laptop, if it's not recognised by iTunes then looks like you might need to make a trip to the Apple store. If the phone is.sill under warranty (under a year old) and providing the display isn't cracked and there's no liquid damage Apple should replace it for free, if not there's a fee of about £180! Hop this helps!
What the hell!
Press and hold the home button and apple logo should come. When it starts up immediately press the up volume key til iphone loads in safe mode. After that restart the phone by pressing home and sleep button til it turns off and then turn it on.
- Would switching my iPhone 5 for a iPhone 4S be stupid? I think the iPhone is great but I like iPhone 4S design better and aren't they pretty much the same just with a few more features? Would it be a dumb move?
- Why does my iPhone keep switching from Silent mode to ringer? When I set my phone down it keeps vibrating. Not plugged in or anything. It goes from silent mode to ringer every 5 seconds. What can I do to fix it? It's so annoying
- VERIZON: Switching from DROID RAZR to an iPhone? I'm a Verizon user. My DROID RAZR currently is not working and I'm pretty certain I broke it. But I was wondering, can I switch my DROID RAZR to an iPhone?
- Switching phones on Verizon.iPhone and android? A person who is on my family plan is using their phone upgrade to get an iPhone 5. I currently have a Galaxy Nexus. When the new iPhone is activated on their number, can we then switch phones so I would have the iPhone and my original number, and they have the Nexus? Does the iPhone to android factor affect this switch.
