My iphone turns off after apple logo?
My mom gave me her old iphone (1st gen) and of course it doesn't have battery, so when i go to plug it in it turns on with the no battery logo then straight to the apple logo, it only stays their for a couple of seconds then turns back off? I have it connected to the computer, still doesn't seem to work. A couple of times it has stared up fine, but then in a couple of minutes of charging it turns off. Don't really know what else to do? I've tried to hold the power and home button but that only helps turn off the phone.
What part of IT DOESN'T HAVE A BATTERY don't you understand? No point in plugging in the charger as it has nothing to charge. It is an iPhone, not a laptop.
Put a battery in it and try again.

The repair guy tried restoring it through iTunes he said it didn't work either it just won't come on it doesn't go pass the Apple logo before shutting off and on again and dying out
- My iphone 4 turns off abruptly after being on for a minute? My iPhone 4 will turn off very abruptly after being on for less than a minute, its stays on only when attached to a power supply, it may last a bit longer if I'm listening to music but still eventually turns off abruptly. I did have a problem with the phone in which it wouldn't turn on at all but it turned out to be the battery was not connected. Any ideas to what it might be this time?

When it does turn off and I try to turn it back on it gives me the red bar and says I have to charge my battery even though I charge it for the whole night. The battery bar is always more than half. Any help?
