My Roomate is mad at me. What should I do to make things better?

I accidentally dropped my roommate s iPhone just now and the tempered glass screen protector cracked but nothing happened to the iPhone. It is still functioning as usual. The screen has a tiny scratch that can be removed easily by using some natural remedies. I feel so guilty and came clean to her right after that. I offered to buy her new tempered glass and fix the scratch. And I have ordered a new screen protector online just now. She is really mad at me to the point she is not speaking to me until now. I don't know what I should do to make her speak to me again. Everything seems awkward now. I can't talk with the other housemates while she s there, sitting with them because I feel so guilty to be chatty because I cracked her screen protector. So I think I shouldn t be happy when IIm around her. What should I do to make her speak to me again?

Just apologize! Her not speaking to you is a bit much, and you shouldn't feel guilty over it. Just talk to her and tell her that it was an accident. Tell her that you've bought her a new screen protector and all. She really shouldn't be that upset. You shouldn't have to feel like you can't be happy when you're around her either. Act normal. Maybe she's enjoying seeing you so freaked out. Things will go back to normal on their own after you apologize. Just don't keep doing it too much, and things will be fine soon okay? Just act normal, because in the end all you can really do is say sorry and buy her what you broke. That's really all there's too it. She'll talk to you eventually.

It was an ACCIDENT. We all have them. There's no need for you to feel unhappy or uncomfortable. You offered to fix it (which you should do) and forget the entire situation. You did not do it on purpose. You were honest and told her. You did everything correctly. IT WAS AN ACCIDENT, if she can't understand that, she has a problem NOT you!

As long as you pay for it then everything should be fine.
