My Verizon iPhone 4 will not restore? Stuck on Recovery Mode

My iPhone has been acting up in low coverage areas and would lose all signal and go into searching… The service would only come back after a restore. But now most recently i've restored it 4 times this week more than usual it use to be once a month. Now it is officially stuck in the recovery mode and every time i get out of it it comes right back to the recovery screen(itunes logo to cable picture)

jailbroken once when i got it like a year and a half ago but restored it because i dropped the backplate and apple had to fix it. I don't know if the jailbreak from a long time ago has anything to do with it?

also 2 months ago it was stuck in a reboot cycle.

I restored it 2 days ago and the service was there for a day but overnight it was searching for service and thats about it

Use a program called Recboot It will kick your IPhone out of Recovery Mode LINK- http://jaxov.com/2010/05/recboot-iphone-recovery-mode/

  • My iPhone is stuck in recovery mode & I don't want to restore! - 1 ITunes failed an update on my phone so it's in recovery mode. I have over 1000 pictures that I don't want to lose. I tried the redsn0w thing that's supposed to work but you have to put your phone in DFU mode which I can't do becouse MY HOME BUTTON DOESN'T WORK. What can I do?

Okay, so my iphone was jailbroken & I had a lot of data on it so I chose to erase all content… It has been stuck on the loading spinny screen for two hours now. My top corner power button will NOT work as in it is broken. Is there any way I can force my phone into recovery mode without this power button working?
  • Iphone will not restore from recovery mode? I tried to restore my iphone via itunes but is now stuck in recovery mode. I press 'Restore' on itunes and it downloads the software (takes about half an hour!) and then nothing happens. There's no error message or anything. I've tried this several times now. I've uninstalled and reinstalled itunes and I've tried turning off my firewall. Nothing has worked so far and my phone is out of action. Any ideas?
