My Verizon phone is broken, I want an iPhone now?
So I had a Verizon Samsung Intensity II, but for whatever reason it started malfunctioning and eventually just gave out. It hadn't been dropped, had no water damage or anything. It eventually just completely went white and won't turn on (I've taken the battery out, etc.). My parents agree that it's broken, and we're going to the Verizon store today, and I want an iPhone. My upgrade isn't due until next may, but I was wondering if my phone breaking would give me an early upgrade, since it wasn't my fault?
No, they will NOT give you your upgrade
they MAY choose to replace your phone with the same device if they can confirm its not your fault, but they won't give you an upgrade to an iPhone.

- Have verizon phone but want iphone5? So back in February I had gotten the Iphone 4S and i have a verizon 2 year contract. Now i was thinking of getting the iphone 5. I'm aware that if i get it from verizon it will cost like a lot of money so i would just get it from the Apple store by my town. So i'm just wondering is it possible to buy a phone from apple and then go to verizon and switch my number to the 5 and use that phone? This whole 2 year contract confuses me lol.
