New to Iphone 4s Power off or Lock?
Hi… I recently bought a iphone 4s, and i'm wondering do i have to power Off my iphone everynight or should i just Lock it. I use to always turn my blackberry off everynight. I'm new to iphone just wondering what others think?
Just like any other phone its your preference, though the norm is to leave the phone on. Unless you really don't want any overnight calls, you leave it on. Who knows when an emergency might come up?
Just lock it, turning it off everynight then back on will actually drain the battery faster. It takes more battery to turn a phone on fully than to just unlock it
Because phones give off micro waves. Its really a small microwave. It has been proven but on a very small scale, that phones cause cancer. If you sleep with it on constantly near u then you are at risk. I always put it in airplane mode (deactivates radio services) then put it in sleep mode(lock) and charge it. Then when i get up i turn airplane mode off and any messages/emails/etc will be received that i missed
oh almost forgot, to charge your iphone it has to be ON. You can't turn it completely off so sleep mode (lock mode) will be your option
- My lock/power off button broke? I've had my iphone SE for 1 1/2 years and I've never smashed it, mistreated it or had any problems/symptoms leading up to the breaking of my lock button, any ideas why this happened and roughly how much it will cost to repair without apple insurance?
- My iPhone 5 lock/power button broken. Does it come with Warranty? I bought the phone when it came out and didn't get any "special care package".Is the standard warranty one year? Can I take it in to an apple store to replace/fix without paying any extra?

- Iphone 5 lock button takes a lot of clicks to power on or off? A couple days ago I noticed that my iphone 5s sleep/wake button was being a little funny. I would click it 1-3 times and then it'll finally sleep or wake. But recently it's been taking 4-8 clicks. And the clicks have to be at a certain angle sometimes. I have warrant for another week and I don't have an apple store close to me for 150 miles. How do I get this fixed while still under the warranty and not going to an apple store?
