Process to change from iphone 3gs to 4s plus change SIM?
Got an iphone 3gs at present on Vodafone PAYG, going to buy a iphone 4s but these only take micro SIM which at present I have normal sized SIM.
So do I go buy my new 4s first, then go into Vodafone shop and request SIM transferral, then set up new 4s?
Don't want to be without a phone during process so can Vodafone activate new SIM straight away?
When I put SIM into new 4s will it let me activate new SIM prior to setting up phone on itunes?
Also if I've backed up to itunes/icloud can I then set up new phone and just transfer all apps / contacts over?
Thanks in advance… Just doesn't feel like its gonna go smoothly in setting up a new SIM & new phone!
Buy sim cutter… Problem solve.
DONOT try to cut the sim yourselves…
- What will happen if i change my sim from my iphone 3gs to a atrix 2? I have an iphone 3gs from At&t, i'm going to buy a atrix 2 on ebay. If i swap the swim from my iphone to the atrix 2 will there be any kind of fees? Do i have to change my data plan?
- How does the iphone upgrade process work? I have an iphone 3g, and checked my upgrade eligibility. It said that I qualified for a two year contract + 36 dollars to get the new iphone 4S. My question is does this really mean that I can trade in my iPhone 3g to get an iPhone 4S for just 36 dollars, or does it mean that I just renew my contract for that price? Do I still have to pay the $199 for the iPhone 4S, or do I just trade in my iphone 3G?
- Does an iPhone 6s Plus allow the user to change APN settings? If not, how can I change it? On my iPhone 6s Plus, it does not show APN settings when I go to the cellular data settings. On the iPhone 6+ it showed APN settings under Cellular data options but this iPhone does not show that. If there isn't an option would I have to jail break it?
- Do I need to keep to SIM card in my phone until the unlocking process is completed? (O2)? I need to unlock my iPhone SE (which is currently locked to the O2 network), but the website says it can take up to 72 hours to complete. I received the phone from a family member who still uses the sim, and so I was wondering if, I got them to use their sim to unlock the iPhone for free on the O2 website, would they need to leave it in until the process has finished, or could they take it out and carry on using it in their new phone?
