Reading my ebooks I've uploaded onto my Iphone from my computer?
There are no definitive guides in how to achieve this! Any help is most welcome
Not enough info. Where did the ebooks come from> What format are they? What reader app do they use?
1. IBooks
If you bought iBooks, you are out of luck. Apple is the only major ebook seller who provides NO Way for their ebooks to be read on other platforms. They provide NO READER software for PC or Android. IBooks can ONLY be read on Apple hardware. I recommend not buying iBooks.
2. Purchased Kindle, Nook or Kobo ebooks. Just install the appropriate company's free ereader software on your PC (i.e. Kindle for PC for Kindle books, Nook PC reader for Nook books, etc). Register the reader software to the same store account (i.e register Kindle reader to your Amazon account or Nook reader to your Barnes & Noble account etc). Then you can re-download your prior ebook purchases from that company (or re-deliver them from the store's content management page).
3. Downloaded ebooks from elsewhere. Since Apple makes it difficult to get files on/off their devices, I recommend you mail the ebooks to yourself, from your phone and to an email account you can open on your PC. Alternately, if you can use Drpobox or Google Drive that would be another way to get the ebooks to the PC. Hopefully you can find an appropriate reader for them that will run on your PC.
Doesn't matter where they come from. They are PDF ebooks. What app is suitable to view these on my phone.
- Why does the video quality look bad when uploaded to the computer? [iPhone 4]? When I upload my video to youtube in HD directly from the iphone, I go on the computer to watch it on youtube and the quality is perfectly normal. But when I copy the file from my iphone and onto my computer the video looks grainy? I wan't to put it into after effects and do some editing but how can I go about KEEPING the quality of the video? I don't get why it gets all grainy when I put it onto my computer vs. It being perfect when I upload it directly from my ipod to youtube?
- Which is worse reading and not replying or not even reading it? On fb or iPhone or whatever which would you consider worse, reading something, and the person seeing you've read it, and not replying or just not reading it at all and I obviously not replying. In both cases not replying at all.
- Where can safely download free ebooks for my iphone 4? I can't find a website that I can download free ebooks without it saying I have to download a random program that might be harmful to my computer. I want to be able to download it and transfer to my phone.
- When you charge your iphone on a different computer does anything get uploaded to it? I went to my friends house and decided to charge my iphone on his computer via USB cable. He doesn't have itunes installed on it, I just used it to charge my phone, and then took it off. Can any of my information be uploaded to his computer by doing this? Just curious, thank you.
