Restoring iphone information not using icloud?

I recently broke my iphone 4s (kept up to date in software). I don't believe I ticked the icloud option on.

However, my phone did make backups to itunes whenever I charge it. If I get a new phone, what information will carry over to my new phone? (Trying to keep as much as I can)

Someone also told me that if I could log into the app store that my information and contacts have already been stored to the cloud, wondering if that's true?

All the information saved on the icloud can be transfer/restored to your new iphone by accessing your apple account to your new phone and sync it.

  • What is the information that I need to know about using my AT&T iPhone out of the country? I have AT&T. I have an iPhone. I'm going to Cabo San Lucas through July 1st-July 5th. I want to use my cell phone to take pictures and post Facebook/Instagram updates, without getting charged for international rates. Suggestions? Like turning off data or using Wi-Fi or using airplane mode.
  • What information can the feds see when they subpoena your iCloud data? What information can they see like will it be text messages or just call records and text records of you texted?
  • What Does Restoring An iPhone Using iTunes Do Exactly? I have a jailbroken iphone 4. Yesterday, I deleted a file from the system of the iPhone using iExplorer on Windows (I deleted the file so that I fix an issue), The issue I was having was gone after deleting the file from system. The question: If I restore my iPhone using iTunes to factory settings, I know the jailbreak would go, but will the DELETED file reappear again? Thanks for reading, now you can answer (if you know it) :D
  • Restoring stuff from icloud Ok so I have an 8GB iPhone 4S and often I run out of space on my phone. I have used icloud but I don't have any money to buy more icloud storage. So instead I backed up my phone to my computer thru itunes. My question is, now that i have backed it up, can i delete all my photos and videos off of my phone and start over. Then if I back it up again will I be able to restore from both back ups? I know this is confusing but this whole back situation is really confusing to me.
