What Does Restoring An iPhone Using iTunes Do Exactly?
I have a jailbroken iphone 4. Yesterday, I deleted a file from the system of the iPhone using iExplorer on Windows (I deleted the file so that I fix an issue), The issue I was having was gone after deleting the file from system.
The question: If I restore my iPhone using iTunes to factory settings, I know the jailbreak would go, but will the DELETED file reappear again?
Thanks for reading, now you can answer (if you know it) :D
It just means "make it like you just bought it". Wipes it clean and starts over.
- What is iTunes used for exactly? Because I'm wondering whether I should delete it from my PC. I have iPhone but I don't have any music on it, and don't plan to. Is this all iTunes is used for? If so, then I will uninstall it.
- What exactly does the iPhone backup back up? I'm going to update my iPhone software (finally!) and I'm worried that all of my data won't be saved. For example, will I have all of my notes, picture folders, app data, emails, etc? I'm terrified that I'll lose my notes. I can email them to myself if need be and there's really no way to back it up, but I'd like to aboid that tedious process if possible.
- What exactly does an effective power do to your iPhone? So I've been wondering about this effective power thing. So i guess when you send someone "effective. Power through iMessage, it crashes the recipient's iPhone. Does it completely ruin the phone's data or does the phone just restart, keeping all the data?
- What does factory unlocked mean exactly? For some reason i feel like this is a stupid question. But I'm not smart when it comes to phones. I want to buy an iphone from Virginmobileusa.com but it is too expensive for me. $650.00. I found a used iphone on ebay, exactly the same as the one that Virgin Mobile is selling for $350.00. My question is, can I use a factory unlocked iphone from ebay for prepaid cards from virgin mobile? Does that make any sense? Someone, anyone please help me!
