Rice stuck in iphone 5c charger port?

I put my iphone in bag of rice took it out
Rice fell in and now I can't get it out

Try using something very small like a sewing needle (be careful not to stab your phone)

Bad luck. You need to go a store, and ask somebody to open the machine, and take the rice out. If the charger port is damaged, you can also ask a replacement for it. It is not a big problem, but a little trouble.

  • Why port forwarding on port 80? I have a foscam home security camera and it needs port forwarding on port 80 if I want to use my iphone to view it from outside. Surely enough, it works as soon as I open that port. But isn't port 80 open by default? Else how could I view http websites in the first place. I don't get it. It's already open so why open it again?
  • Uncooked rice grain wedged in charger port iphone 5s? I tried the rice trick on my wet iphone, the phone is now working fine except a piece of rice is wedged RIGHT at the bottom of the charger hole. Tweezers, knife, pin, vacuum cleaner are not able to get it out. Will Apple be able to get it out because I can't even see the grain of rice anymore and the charger does not work.
  • Plastic piece is stuck in my iphone 5 charging port! What to do? There seems to be some sort of plastic piece to be stuck in my iphone 5 charging port. I have already tried removing it with a toothpick etc., but it is stuck pretty bad… Anyone knows this problem and knows how to fix it? (because i don't want to pay $150 for a new charging port)
  • Iphone 6 rice stuck in charger slot? There was actually no water damage, water spilled near the phone so I figured in case some did go, although everything was working great, I will put it in rice for a while. But there's a rice stuck in the slot now, I tried hoover, needle… None work. I think I pushed it back even more instead. Is there any other solution?
