Samsung galaxy s4 vs iPhone 5 from Verizon?
For those who have these phones which do you think is better. I need an upgrade from my driod 4 soon and these are my top picks
Samsung galaxy s4 for sure.
IPhone is better.
Both are great phones iPhone 5 is easier to hold and type in, in my opinion. I own an S4 and it usually slips through my hands while typing. I have medium hands of about 6.5 inches from base of palm.
Physical problem with iPhone 5 is the new connector, easily breaks and might need to be replaced every 3 months or so.
Looking at the OS, you will be more likely to switch to the S4 better because of your droid 4.
It all comes down to preference.
Spec wise, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is better. It has a faster processor, graphics accelerator, bigger screen, better camera etc etc. When compared to the iPhone 5.
The S4 runs Android, which is more customizable, though less user friendly than iOS. The Google Play store has less quality apps than the Apple AppStore, but there's still plenty to choose from. It only has 16GB internal storage, but has expandable memory up to 64GB, which the iPhone does not. It also has a removable battery which is a plus.
The i5 on the other hand runs iOS. It is more user friendly, but has next to no customization. The AppStore is better too. The iPhone 5 is more comparable to the Samsung Galaxy S3 than the S4.
My advice, if you want a phone now, get the S4.It is all around a better phone when compared to the iPhone 5.
If you can wait, apple will release a new iPhone, possibly around September-November. See if that is better than the S4, and make your decision then.
