Setting my iPhone 4S to British English?
I've recently bought an iPhone 4S (in Spain) and have changed the language settings to English (UK) and the keyboard settings to British English. However, every time I go to use the keyboard it uses US English, so 'neighbour' is changed to 'neighbor' (and in some cases it doesn't recognise British colloquialisms, which I know Apple do, as I have an iPad which works with BrEng, and lets me type them). It's set exactly the same as on my iPad so I haven't the slightest idea what I've done wrong or how to change it. You might not think it's important but I prefer to use BrEng, and I'm fed up of seeing a red squiggly line under 'colour'!
Added (1). The keyboard is already set to BrEng, by the way. Every single setting concerning language is set to UK English, or British English.
Go to settings>general>keyboards>and then add in BrEng
Also, you can add a custom dictionary so that it won't autocrorect some words

- What are the differences between the English and Spanish keyboards on an iPhone? Other than the fact that "space" is labeled "espacio" and "return" is "intro", I can't tell much of the difference between the two keyboard layouts. Is there anything I'm missing or is that it? I know you can access the different accents and marks by holding on a letter, but that works with both the English and the Spanish keyboard.
