What do British people think about how Americans are obsessed with the Royal Family?

On American TV it's like they obsess over every little things that happens about the royal family in England I mean NBC news had some 'royal wedding app' for the iphone one time or something it's kinda sad what do Brits think of this?

We're not obsessed with the Royal family.

The media is obsessed with it so that then makes some obsessed with it.

I could care less about what the media says in America because (I'm a American)

I'm sure there are just as many Brits who obsess over them as Americans do.

Why not? Its part of your cultural heritage, its only normal to feel some connection, and there's a certain romance about the royal family.

don't think of them as a british thing, they belong to canada and australia just as much as us, the royal family are a SYMBOL of a shared culture, history and tradition, thats all, and americans are quite welcome to be part of it

They don't belong to the Americans sorry mate now first of I'm English and I hate the monarch alot of Americans think we're proud of them, most of us aren't although there good for tourism, every year we pay our taxes go on them to keep them rich. Yes there are some of the royal family that have place themselves in our military which I think is a mockery of it people work hard to fight there way up the ranks and they get a golden pass. Most of england dislikes them and views it as a waste of time and effort only to hook international intrest.

  • Why are people obsessed with Joe Rogan's podcast? It is literally all my buddy talks about every other day. Rogan this, Rogan that. He always has to bring it up in amy conversation. Quite annoying really. He's also heavy into government conspiracies. Maybe that's why he likes the podcast so much? What's so good about gathering around your iPhone and listening to a UFC host talk about dumb stuff?
  • Why are people obsessed with FB? I'm amazed how Facebook is dominating people's lives. I do have FB, but some off my friends in there post pictures of EVERYTHING! For example Carrier bags with loads of shopping in it etc etc.these are people who work and study, so where do they get the time. To be honest I think there's a lot of proudness on there, like selfridges bags, telling people where they are, pictures of iPhones etc.man get a life'
