Should I buy an iPhone 5 then sell it?

I'm thinking of buying an iPhone 5 and then selling it for almost twice its retail price because there are so many Apple addicts out there that would remove there kidney to get an Apple product. I'm asking based on the 'internets' opinion if you think this idea would work and if you know anybody like this or have heard any stories about Apple products being sold for ridiculous prices (I'm curious!).

Okay stop and listen to yourself. You already know the answer to this question. Buy new iPhone5, unused, untouched for about eight hundred dollars from a company thats trust worthy or, or buy used, touched Iphone5 from a stranger you met on the bus or ebay for almost two thousand dollars. It will be someone completley insane! Like they would have millions of dollars to just waste anyway. Good luck on that one budy. Like i know I would keep the thousand dollars. Its a recession no ones gonna waste a thousand dollars if they don't need to. Not tryna be rude just tryna get my point across.

IPhone5 is not a rare item. So other people also can get one easily buy themselves, why do they have to buy from you with double price and it is a second hand? They can get a new one with normal price.

The only way that would possibly work is if there were no more left and we all know that's not going to happen. Apple knows how much people want this phone so trust me they will keep producing them to get everyone's money. No one is going to buy from you when they can get it cheaper with the actual company brand new and with a warranty. If you're going to buy one then buy it for your own use, not to try and rip people off.
