Should I buy the iPhone 5s or 5c? - 1

I was wondering which iPhone to buy. I want one that will last a while until I can upgrade again in two years time. I also want one that won't become slow or unresponsive

5c, the 5s is great but the 5c does just as much and is a lot more comfortable to hold and use. As well as this, if you compare the two the 5c looks a lot nicer.

In my opinion, the iPhone 5S is much better then the 5C. It is very fast, the camera is way better, and it has the touch ID which is GREAT!

I had no idea that 2 years was "a while" even for cellphones. Either way, there's no way to tell which of either phone will last longer. If you take care of your phone, it will last.

That can happen to any technology that you don't care for.

5s cause it is mre expensive and you can brag!

IPhone 5S for example is twice as fast as the iPhone 5, has a better camera, a better flash, and even a fingerprint scanner. The iPhone 5C on the other hand has no improvements over the iPhone 5, except its battery which lasts an extra two hours

Here is the main differences between the iphone 5S and 5C

Camera - The 5S' camera produces pics and vids with higher quality. The 5S' camera can shoot slo-mo vids - although the specs on apple.com shows a frame rate of 30 fps, the 5S is actually capable of shooting at 120fps when in slo-mo mode. The 5C can't do slo-mo vids. Also, the 5S' camera is more accurate in color representation (i.e.colors look more like they do in real life).

Processor (i.e. Speed) - The 5S has a much more powerful processor than the 5C does. If you play games on your phone at all, you'll find that the 5S is twice as fast.

Fingerprint Scanner - The 5S has a fingerprint scanner that allows you to unlock your phone without having to punch in the 4-letter passcode, and to confirm your appstore purchases just by putting your finger on the home button. The 5C does not have this feature.

Casing Material - The 5S is made of aluminum. The 5C is made of plastic.

Color - The 5S is available in gold, silver and space gray. The 5C is available in green, blue, pink (which actually looks more like red), yellow, and white.

Price - This is the only aspect where the 5C has an advantage over the 5S - the 5C costs $100 less.

I think iPhone 5s is better than 5c because it is good-looking strong with its aluminum housing that comes in gold, silver, and gray. The sleekness of metal and glass make the device extremely thin and light along with the great engineered design to compress the device into an amazingly powerful Smartphone. On the other hand iPhone 5c is a cheaper version of iPhone. Its housing is made up of polycarbonate plastic-a cheap material-that maybe had contributed to its cheaper price.

If you want the best iPhone then the 5s is gonna be the device you want and the one that is gonna last you longest i would say. Mainly because it is more feature rich and more powerful than the 5c which should mean the software updates will come along for this device easily for the next couple of years.
