Should I get a 16gb or 32gb iPhone 5?
Can you also explain the extra 1gb the phone had now.
The new 1gb is for extra data (with the new IOS) I think. And If you can afford it, the more space, the better. It all depends on what you use/plan to use your phone for.
You know the answer better than us. If you use alot of data, then go for 32. If not, 16. I have 8 gigs on my phone and I only used 2.
if a phone has a built in storage of say… 8 gigs. It typically comes with more than 8 gigs to compensate the information that's already on the phone.
I think 16 gb is fine but if you have extra $100 i would get the 32 gb. Also will you upgrade to iphone 5s or 6 or stay with this phone for 2 years. If you will upgrade in 1 year then only get 16 gb but if you will keep this phone for 2 years or more get 32 gb.anyway if you get 16 gb, you will actually get 12 gb because the ios software use 4gb to store it self and same with the 32 gb, you won't actually get 32 gb but less than 30 gb. I got an 8gb ipod touch but when i opened it, it was 6 gb as 2gb was used by miscellanoeus items, which was ios.
