Should I keep the iphone 4 I found?

I found an iphone yesterday in the hall of my building. It was just by the door of a room, but it looked all dusty and it only had like 3% battery. I immediately turned it off because I know iphone's can be tracked. I find it ironic that the day before that I had a convo with a guy that found an ipgone and he returned it. I found an iphone another time before, and I returned it out of instinct. This time, I just put it in my pocket. I'm in a dilemma. I don't know what to do. I wanna keep it So bad! I actually been looking online to buy one, but I can't afford it at this moment. I feel like it's a message from god, but I don't know if it's a way to be tested. I have been looking around for any anouncements about a lost iphone, and I don't hear anything. Should I wait at least a month before i clear it and decide to use it? I feel really guilty and scared, especially because iphone's can be tracked, but I want it really bad.

No! Coz this may b the test from god…

Return it, but you deserve a reward if you do, maybe you can use the money to save for you're own iphone.

Would you be feeling awesome to have lost your iPhone? Just return it to an Apple Store or a Police Station, that phone will eventually be tracked and you can't even access it if has a locked screen plus you would need to erase its data for you to configure your data into it with your phone provider, that's EVEN if it's compatible with the company. Trust me, I learned that part when I was trying to unlock my iphone4s from Sprint to T-mobile. I won't bother with technical details, but overall, just return it, it's not yours and you'd want that person to return your phone also.

I would check the phone info and try to return it. It could be really important to the owner. Good karma is the only karma to have in your life.

Having an iPhone isn't the problem with owning one, it's the price of service. Mine was "free" but I still have to pay about $180 a month for 2 iPhones, a Verizon Home Connect and an Aircard.

Turn it in and make the owner happy.

I know how bad that can be because i want an iphone so bad.Id say wait for some time and if nobody tracked it or is looking for it, keep it.

Isn't it obvious that you shouldn't keep it?

  • Just found an Iphone 4s, should i keep it or sell it? - 1 I was cleaning my truck and found it. I let it charge for a bit turned it on and found out it belongs to a relative. I'm leaning towards returning it to them but the calls/messages are over a month old so they may a have a new one by now. But the little devil on my shoulder is also telling me to keep it instead. It's way better than my current phone(pre paid). Lol if it didn't belong to someone i know i would keep without a doubt. But yeah.

  • I found an iPhone 4s, can I keep it? The poor thing was totally trashed. The screen completely cracked and the SIM card had sharpie all over it. I found this while on a trip in Miami, now that I'm back in Cali, I want to know if it's safe to use? I replaced the screen and changed the SIM. It was orginally registered with AT&T but they already cut the service.
