Should i update my iphone 3gs to software 6.0.1?
It is now currently on software 5.1.1 and my friend told me not to update it because it would become very lagging and slow I don't know weather i should?
If it is unlocked and jailbroken then definitely not, my partner has just done hers and it has wiped it completely and can't jailbreak it now, need to go back to original provider and start afresh,(was bought in America so going to be a lot hassle)

I just got an iphone 3gs and i'm trying to JB it so i can use it on tmobile but the software is on 3.1.2, when i try to update it to anything new it says "iPhone2.1_4.3_8F190_Restore.ipsw" was not copied to the iPhone (insert name) because it can't be played on this iphone." says this with later updates as well. Any help?

- Should I update the software on my iPhone 5S? I don't know if I should. All I'm scared about is my videos or pictures not being able to be seen or heard from my phone. Or worse, deleted. The pics/vids are stored on my laptop. But still, I'd like to have it on my phone. If I choose to update, it's going to be iOS 7.1.2. Should I? Will it delete or mute videos and pictures?
