Should I update my iPhone 4 to iOS 7?
I'm just wondering if my iPhone will be able to handle the new update. Will it be any laggier or slower? It's currently on iOS 6.1.3 and it can be a tad bit laggy at times already. Has anyone who has updated with an iPhone 4 experienced any issues?
Added (1). I'm well aware of the release date and the amount of traffic Apple will have on their servers due to all the people downloading iOS 7. I want to know if downloading iOS 7 on my iPhone 4 will cause it to be slower, not if I should download it on the release date, which by the way is today.
IOS 7 is available on September 18 for the iPhone 5, 4S and 4 as a free update.
Wait a day or two before downloading iOS 7.
Everyone will be downloading it on the 18th and Apple's servers might be too busy.
- Update stopped during ios update own iphone now phones broke I connected my iPhone 4 to my computer (iTunes) and started doing the update through iTunes. About five minutes into the update iTunes in my computer stops working, causing the update to of course stop working. Now my phone will not turn on. On the screen it is black with the 'charge symbol' as if it were low on battery and an iTunes symbol. I have tried turning my phone off and on, but of course it didn't respond.
- Should i update to ios 8 or stick with ios 7 on my iphone 5? Cuz from experience i know ios 7 is really slow on iphone 4. So just wondering if anyone already updated to ios 8 on their 5. Is it worth it, any issues with the speed
- Should I update to iOS 7? Or Stay with iOS 6? I have an iPhone 5, and I was wondering whether iOS 7 is a worthy upgrade from iOS 6, and if the features are really that compelling or not. Or Should I stay with iOS 6?
- Should I update my iPhone 4 to iOS 6 or leave it on iOS 5? I'm currently using iOS 5.1.1 because I didn't want to lose google maps (which I use a lot) to shoddy apple maps but I've seen a google maps app on the app store now so do you think I should update to iOS 6? And what are the benefits?
