Someone Gave Me A iPhone With An Over Due Account, Is Their A Way I Can get It Off?
I Haven't Added It To My Account though But i want to just not with their bill.
They gave it to you for free because it's useless if it has an unpaid bill.
THE ONLY way to get that phone activated on your account, is to have the ORIGINAL owner to pay the account or you can do it (in their name, with them going to the store with you to do so).
So for example if it costs $500 dollars to get their account paid off, that is what it is going to take to activate that phone on you cell phone carrier under your account. THE US is finally starting to blacklist GSM phones that are from scammers that get phones and don't pay the bill. Something most of the rest of the world has been doing for years. In Europe, phones reported lost, stolen or from unpaid accounts, get blacklisted, so they can't be used on any carrier.
Hopefully it was given to you for free, because if you paid for it, you got screwed.
