Spilled Mountain Dew on my power strip?
About 20 minutes ago I spilled Mountain Dew on my power strip which had my PS4, TV, cable box, and iPhone charger all plugged into. The prongs on each cord got a bit of MD on it (not a lot…) but my power strip got most of the damage. There wasn't a ton but I seen a bit get into the outlet of the strip. I unplugged the power strip right away and there was no smoke or anything when it happened. What do I do? Are the cords safe to be plugged in to an outlet? I'd rather not use the power strip.
I also got my the USB to my Turtle Beach headset wet. Like the cords, not much got into the adaptor. How can I fix this and know it's safe to use again?
If you buy some contact cleaner spray at the hardware or automotive store you might be able to revive it. The problem with a drink like that is that will leave a film of sugar residue on the contacts - if you spray contact cleaner into each outlet it might be ok. That cleaner will work for USB connectors too.

Me my sister and dad have all got the iPhone 4, only difference is, is that my silver strip has disappeared somewhere into my phone, doesn't seem to of made a difference though? - Update to OSX Mountain Lion? Hi! So I got my hands on an iPhone 5 recently and I wanted to back it up and add songs so I plugged it into my Mac. Then it said that my iTunes version was too old and to update, i need to update the OSX since I'm currently running on 10.5.8. I'm considering buying Mountain Lion but will it DELETE MY FILES? Read some stuff online about "backing it up"? How do you do that exactly, without iCloud?
- Spacebar strip of iPhone can't be touched Few months ago, I accidentally dropped my phone on the floor. I immediately picked it up and tried touching the screen, everything was fine… Except for the lower part of the phone. I couldn't type, unlock my phone because the spacebar is part of the disabled screen ;-; Someone help me.
- OS X Mountain Lion and the IPhone 5? Do I need OS X mountain lion installed on our mac before we can sync our iphone 5 with iTunes? Everytime we plug it in it says we need to upgrade, but our itunes says it is updated to 10.6.3 and is up to date.
