Strorage capacity problems with iPhone 4s?
I have an iPhone 4s which has a total storage capacity of about 13 GB. I do not have many apps, and often get the warning that I can't take pictures or download more apps because I do not have enough space. When I go to manage my storage, it says 6.0 GB is taken up by messages, even though I do not have ANY messages. What is this and how can I fix it? I often times have to delete pictures and apps to make room for something else, when I really do not have many pictures or apps at all. Any help would be great!
Have you tried restarting your phone? That usually works all the free space is now accurately measured.
- Will my iphone run slow if i use up all/most of storage capacity? I got a 32 GB iphone 5. If i put all my music on there + all my apps, pictures, and videos, ill only have about 1 GB left. Will this slow down my iphone at all? What if i end up using all the storage? What's a good of amount of storage to leave free in order for performance not to be affected?
- What takes up the other portion of my iPhone storage capacity? I have the iPhone 4 and almost 1/3 of my capacity is taken up my "other" and I want to know what that is so i can do something about it.
- What's the other in my iphone capacity? I don't have any videos or anything like that… And my phone keeps giving me a random notification that my storage is almost full and my iphone freezes a lot when i unlock it
- What is in the other category on my iPhone 4S capacity? 3.5 gb of my phones capacity is being taken up by this others category and now my phone has no space. What is in it and how do I clear it?
