Unjailbreaking iPhone 3GS custom ipsw?
Recently I decided I didn't to be jailbroken so I went to do the process on iTunes on my PC where I clicked restore and a message would appear about backing up my contents. I did and as the time passed a message came up saying my iphone couldn't be restored. I'm still jailbroken and have all my stuff but I want to unjailbreak. Note again I have an iPhone 3GS on ios 6.1.3 and I used a custom ipsw when I jailbroke.
Okay I've done this many many times, firstly back up your phone, make sure it is backed up.
then put your phone in 'recovery mode' you can google how to do that, its a special combination of holding the off and home button.
then iTunes says you have to restore your phone to the latest software.
remember, back up then recovery mode.
- Where to download Iphone 4 cdma 6.0 ipsw? I need this software. I try to use the direct link on http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ but it says wating for appldnld.apple.com but it just won't load, I've tried like 10 different sites. Could anyone give me a good link?
- Where can I download the 6.0 ipsw to jailbreak my iPhone 4? I downloaded redsn0w to jail break my iPhone 4 and downloaded the 6.0 ipsw. When I try opening the ipsw on redsnow < select ipsw, it doesn't even show up. I've tried several different times, but I don't know why the file doesn't open.
- Unjailbreaking my iPhone 4s? I want to unjailbreak my iPhone 4s so I can update it to ios 6 but the problem is I don't want to lose all my data from the apps. Yes I did restore it before I jailbroke it but I want to keep my progress. Example is I have sims freeplay n I have all this money but if I restore it will it erase everything? Also can I back up my jailbroken phone n restore n maybe it will keep it up to date?
- Unjailbreaking my iphone 4s? - 1 If I unjailbreak my iphone 4s will I lose everything like pictures, contacts, etc? I'm planning on unjailbreaking because the jailbreak for the IOS6 is taking too long. Also, I know I can back-up my phone through iCloud but I do not have anymore space. So is there a way I can back my apps, pictures and what not to my computer and then maybe just transfer it back to my phone after I restored it?
