Using Iphone in the USA, will I be charged?
So I live in Ontario, and I will be visiting Ohio for the weekend. I got a new Iphone 5 with VIRGIN, but no contract. If I take my phone across the border, what do I have to do in the settings to prevent any charges.
It might go on roaming but if you really want to be sure you might have to put it on airplane mode the whole time.

I'm using my iPhone which has telstra sim in it and my parents pay for that number. I'm using the whatsapp app on my iPhone but I'm using a different number which is prepaid and doesn't have any credit. I have my phone In airport mode to be safe. - Will I get charged for using my iPhone abroad? I'm going to Holland tomorrow and I was wondering if I would get charged for taking my phone with me? I'm on a pay monthly contract but it doesn't include roaming/ international things… I'm with the 3 network if that makes a difference… I won't be calling anyone or making texts but I'll probably be using Wi-Fi? Will I get charged just for taking my phone to a different country even if I don't use it at all? Any help appreciated, Thanks.
