Will I get charged for using my iPhone abroad?
I'm going to Holland tomorrow and I was wondering if I would get charged for taking my phone with me? I'm on a pay monthly contract but it doesn't include roaming/ international things…
I'm with the 3 network if that makes a difference…
I won't be calling anyone or making texts but I'll probably be using Wi-Fi? Will I get charged just for taking my phone to a different country even if I don't use it at all?

It probably wouldnt have service, but call your phne company and ask to be on the safe side
If you only use Wi-Fi, that's all you can be charged for, as long as your phone isn't receiving stuff without you knowing - turn off data roaming and you'll be fine, otherwise you could be getting emails and updates for your apps sent to you without you even asking for them, and that can be expensive.
on an iPhone go Settings >General > Cellular > Data Roaming [Off].
Also remember that Wi-Fi isn't always free - it's not your phone provider who charges you, its the Wi-Fi provider.
