Verizon iphone 4 to straight talk?

I bought a Verizon iphone 4 and I'm wanting to make it into a straight talk phone. The "bring your own program" says my iphone IS compatible and I have already talked to straight talk reps, probably three times. I was told the first time it would only take a "few hours" to get my already existing plan ported/transferred to my new iphone. Well I called back and was told it will take 24 hours. So this crap has gone from a "few hours to now 24 hours".called again. This time they tell me it will take a couple of days.WHAT.THE.****?! I don't want to wait around for 2 days for my stuff to "maybe" work. How long does it take to port an already pre-existing number/plan to a new iphone? Are there any ways to resolve this crap?

Get a good plan

Tracphone/StraightTalk/Net10, which are all part of Tracphone, all kind of suck when it comes to customer service. That is why they are cheap.

It could be that Verizon is giving them a hard time as well. They need to relinquish your number before StraightTalk can use it. Verizon is sure not in any hurry to act on their request.

@Jason Alden, I bought the phone used off someone and the esn and all that are clean.so I don't know what to do. Straight talk swears that the number I already have for straight talk is being ported from my old straight talk phone to my new iphone. No idea and tired of the non-English speaking twats.ugh.
