What are my chances on getting into Rutgers New Brunswick?
What are the chances of me getting into Rutgers school of business? I'm graduating CC in California with a 3.2 GPA and am dying to transfer to Rutgers. I know my GPA isn't the best, but I do a lot of work/activities outside of school. For one I own and operate a company that creates iPhone apps, I have my own set of developers and designers and have my company produce apps. I do community service at my local animal shelter and have over 100 hours (is that a good amount or should I do more?). I'm also the sports editor for my schools newspaper. Also my uncle went to Rutgers and became very successful with Merrill Lynch. He would write me a letter of rec along with my dads friend who attended Rutgers as well (both the NB campus). I have also held a steady job for 3 years if that helps? If I can't get into the business major would I be accepted into the SAS school under an econ major, then I would transfer to business once I'm in. I really want to follow in my uncles foot steps.
You've got some good things going for you, however you seem a bit misguided regarding your letters of recommendation. Letters of rec from your Uncle and dad's friend are meaningless. Rutgers wants recommendations from people who can look at your work objectively (which your Uncle can't) and someone who knows your work (which your dad's friend can't). Rutgers won't care whether they went there or not. Ask teachers or coaches that can write one for you.
3.2 is a very respectable GPA. Go ahead and apply to the Rutgers B school and see what they say.
Also have backup plans in case Rutgers doesn't work out for you.

Tried to call the train company but it is late on a Sunday so their phone line is closed. It has a tracking app but the battery is flat. I will be able to track it, if whoever finds it thinks to charge it.
- Chances on winning an iPhone 4s on Beezid? Like if I was actually committed to winning one. Would I have a good chance on getting it if I went on late at night and sat there at the one bid? Because i really need a cheap iPhone 4s I lost mine and have to buy myself one. I looked up on Quibids and apparently they always screw people over, but apparently if you win on Beezid you get a good deal. If you don't win, you're screwed over.
