What do you do when your app on your iphone is stuck on waiting?

One of my apps on my iphone 4 is stuck on waiting on my home screen. And i deleted the app on my phone by going to Settings > Usage > Show all apps > and then i clicked the app that was stuck on waiting and clicked Delete App. And then i turned my phone off and turned it back on and on my home screen it still has the app stuck on waiting, even after i deleted it. So i went to go download my app again in the app store to see if it still shows i have the app and the app says i'm still downloading the app. But when i go back to Settings > Usage > Show all apps and stuff it says that i don't have that app anymore. But clearly on my home screen its still stuck on waiting. What do i do? Please help! I'm literally so frustrated at my phone.

  • When ever I download an app on my iPhone the app says waiting? Whenever I download an app on my iPhone 4, the app pops up on the home screen as just a grey box and it says "waiting". I've tried leaving it alone for a while but nothing changes, I've also tried turning it off and back on but that's not helping either. How do I get it to stop "waiting"? Tapping it doesn't work and when I hold it and try to delete it there's no X on the corner like all the other normal apps.
  • What would you do if you were watching your favorite show, and your 20 year old kid turned off the TV so that you couldn't watch it? I pay all the bills at the house. I normally watch AHS once a week with my kid. This week, she told me to go watch it in my own room. I told her my TV wasn't working and we would just have to watch it in her room. She turned off the TV so that I couldn't watch it. Then, she pompously pulled out her iPhone and proceeded to watch it on her iPhone. What would you do if this happened to you?
  • App Store Game Dead Trigger 2 Waiting Time Problem? I have Dead Trigger 2 on my iPhone. It seems as though. After every mission, I have to wait at least 48 hours before I can play another mission. I have look on the FAQ of the game and it doesn't evenenyion anything about wait time. Could I have a glitch in my game or is there someone who play the game and are having the same problem as me. Please let me know.
  • MY Iphone 4s apps are stuck in waiting? For the past 4 days I've had 3 apps stuck in "waiting", 2 are new and 1 is an upgrade. I've tried everything, even resetting all settings and nothing works. I hold down on the apps and I don't even get the option of deleting them to re-download them. Any ideas?
