What is network unlocked Iphone?
I want this easy to understand, Is a network unlocked iphone usable as soon as I get it from online. Or do I have to pay more ******* money to use it.
It would be usable out the box, of course assuming you have a SIM to put in it. As easy as possible:
Network unlocked phone means that it should work with pretty much any compatible carrier around the world.
In order to use the phone, as in set it up, you have to have a SIM card. You can only use it for Wi-Fi calling, data (if you have Wi-Fi in your house, or use hotspots or free Wi-Fi), and text, again via Wi-Fi or thru Skype, etc.- you have no PHONE service. There will be other glitches that might appear - the phones are built to be less than cooperative when you could get many services for free. Expect things to mysteriously not work from time to time - if EVERYBODY could get free service, then phone companies would not stay in business. An GSM iPhone can be used on T-mobile and AT&T and any other compatible GSM cellular network. You will of course have to pay for a plan for whichever network you plan to use it on, be it prepaid or postpaid. So yes, unless you are ONLY going to use that phone on Wi-Fi (free or paid for), you will be paying for service as well. Simply put, if your iPhone is network unlocked, you can use the phone with any GSM carrier (uses SIM card) you want worldwide.

- Wi-Fi on iPhone keeps saying unable to join network (my network name)? How can I fix this! It's been like this for a week but it works on my laptop fine. I tried unplugging it for a few seconds, I tried resetting network settings, I tried turning my phone off then on again, and I know I'm typing it right. I even typed it in upper case AND lower case. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
- What's the difference between off-network and on-network? I'm try to work out which is best for what I want out of the service. I want protection while on my iPhone 5 (both when connected via Wi-Fi and when roaming on 3/4G). Website with product details: http://www.umbrella.com/products/umbrella-security-features/
- Unlocked AT&T iPhone 4 Working on Sprint Network? My friend is planning to give me his iPhone 4 when his cousin gives him his hold iPhone 4S but i'm wondering if his iPhone 4 from AT&T Thats unlocked, will it work with my sprint network?
- Looking for a way to evenly share network speed in a house network? So my problem is that I play games online, that need a good ping. Whenever anyone from any other computer goes to load a video on youtube in a high quality, it takes up all the speed, gives me more than 400 ping and just pretty much cuts everyone else out. Is there a way to share the network evenly between every user? Our download speed is about 6mb/s, so if we have 4 active users, i'd like it to share it like 1.5mb/s each.
