What type of SIM card do i need to be able to use my unlocked iPhone?
I got an unlocked iPhone & I want to be able to make unlimited calls, text & a new number but what kind of SIM card will I need to get & where would I get it?
I would say straight talk but the license was pulled so you can't get their SIM anymore. An at&t prepaid SIM maybe.
The carrier plans dictate what options you get, not the SIM inserted into the phone. What SIM you need for the iPhone depends on the iPhone you are talking about.
original, 3G & 3GS - miniSIM
4 & 4S - microSIM
5 - nanoSIM
Of course you get a SIM card from any GSM carrier, like AT&T or T-Mobile.
Get a StraightTalk SIM card from Walmart and use it in your iPhone.
You can try ATT for that service.
- Will I be able to transfer my contract from a regular Sim card to a Micro Sim card? I want to buy an iPhone 4S on T-mobile, but my current T-mobile sim card is a regular one that would not fit in to the iPhone 4S. Would I be able to somehow move my contract on to the new Micro Sim?
- Will cutting my sim card work to use as a micro sim card? I just ordered an iPhone 4 and I need to cut the sim card to make it a Micro sim. Will it affect it. I have seen a bunch of video and already have the template it for it. I'm using simple mobile. Do you know if anything wrong happen to it?
- Locked iPhone and need sim card to use because I restarted it but i don't have the specific sim I need. Please i'm desperate? Ok so my aunt got me an iPhone from Canada but its sim locked and it says I need to insert a sim card for it to work.
