Why are people paying so much for an iPhone 5 on eBay?
I saw that you can pre-order the iPhone 5 at the Apple Website for $200+
but people are paying $1000+ on eBay. Why is that? Why don't they just pre-order it themselves?
Seeing as it hasn't been released yet, I'd be really apprehensive about spending! K for one on ebay. Three are going to be stories in the news next week about scams, I can assure you.
I'm waiting until November as if they are buggy, they will know by then.
People are willing to pay retail price for iPhones because it does not lock them into a two year contract. Also, if you pay retail price, and you have unlimited data, you are able to keep it. If you are using an upgrade, it will cancel the unlimited.
Overseas ordering as it isn't available there yet? Just guessing.
It's a combination of 2 things -- preorders are sold out in a lot of places, and some people have more money than brains (or patience).
- Why people like iPhones? I can't never get people who like iphones to give a good reason, why? Some say it easy, but a lot have no clue on how to use their own phones. Can someone explain something useful that great about iphone? Everything they think is special other phones have been doing for years.
- Why do poor people care more about their image and buying nice clothes than feeding their family or paying bills? I see tons of poor people who make less than 20k a year spending their entire income on nice clothes and shoes and purses and makeup. Their children are starving they can't even afford to use the air conditioner or pay for electricity but they absolutely need to buy a new iPhone or a new pair of high heels
- Why do people pay so much more for iPhones on eBay? I was looking to buy a 32g iPhone 5 on eBay, and saw that some (that ended today) sold for about $900 (locked on AT&T)! You can buy this same phone without contract for only $650 on Apple's website. What is the meaning of this? @Mark read more carefully… You can buy them on Apple's website… This has nothing to do with supply and demand.
- People with iPhones, is it worth paying for AppleCare+? I'm goig to buy the iPhone 7 soon, but I was just wondering if it is even worth to pay for AppleCare+? To people who have payed for it and used it, do you think it was worth it? Can someone tell me a bit about their experience and why or why not they found it to be beneficial?
