What firmware are you on? Pangu, which is the latest jailbreak tool, can only jailbreak up to IOS 7.1.X so if you're on IOS 8 then you can't jailbreak. Also what jailbreak tool are you using? Other tools are not updated as other, some only go to 7.1.4 such as Evasi0n.

I've taken all of the necessary steps to jailbreak my iPhone 5c iOS 7.1.1 with Pangu.io including:

taking off my passcode
setting it to never autolock
setting the date and time to june 2 2014 8:30 am and pm
backing up my phone
closing itunes
makeing sure there was enough space on everything

And i still got the error message "You can't open the application "pangu" because it's not supported on this type of Mac."

what does this mean? I'm getting impatient.
